This hybrid course explores teacher leadership in educational technology (edtech), focusing on the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI).
Participants will critically examine their roles as edtech leaders, addressing questions such as how to define teacher leadership and navigate misconceptions. The course covers current innovations, including AI’s impact on daily life, and how to address issues of bias, privacy, and safety.
Learners will explore AI tools to enhance student learning, accessibility, and digital media literacy. Additionally, the course emphasizes the importance of Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) in supporting and challenging teacher leaders, incorporating adult learning theories into practice.
